Enanga Kebbi : Fallen Journalist Laid To Rest

The late CRTV veteran journalist was posthumously raised to the rank of Gand Officer of the National Order of Valour in Limbe on Saturday 29, 2022 before her burial in Limbe.

From dust, Juliana Enanga Kebbi came, and unto dust, she returned at the New Town Cemetery on October 29, 2022 in the South West Region. After a holy mass at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church Gardens Limbe, in honour of the memory of late Enanga Kebbi, she received a posthumous decoration from the Head of State. The Senior Divisional Officer for the Fako Division, Mr Chaibou, on behalf of President Paul Biya, raised the late Enanga Kebbi to the rank of Grand Officer of the National Order of Valour. The decoration ceremony took place in front of the church hall in the presence of some government Ministers, Senators, Parliamentarians, family members, friends, colleagues and a host of supporters of the Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement (CPDM).
Officiating at the funeral church service was the Bishop of the Buea Diocese, His Lordship Micheal Miabesue Bibi who committed the corpse of the late Enanga Kebbi to the ground, saying “earth to earth, ashes to ashes, dust to dust; in sure and certain hope of the resurrection to eternal life.” Preaching from the biblical Book of Wisdom 4:7 -15, Romans 8:31-35, and the gospel of Luke 12:35 to 46, Bishop Bibi said whether we live or die, we live or die in Jesus Christ. He said no one lives for himself nor dies for himself. As Juliana Enanga Kebbi's remains were laid to eternal rest, the Bishop said she was heading home with the Lord. Hence, the congregation should have hopes for a better life after death if they live in Christ. Bishop Bibi reminded mourners of the inevitable nature of the reality of death, and that nobody knows the hour but God alone does. He then told mourners to be watchful and be ready at any time.
