Cameroon-Jamaica Friendly : Aboubakar, Tawamba, Epassy Join Local Players

The team had its second training session yesterday November 3, 2022 at the Ngoa Ekelle stadium in Yaounde ahead of the World Cup friendly next week.

Three foreign-based players have joined the 26-home-based players bracing up ahead of the World Cup farewell friendly against Jamaica on November 9, 2022 in Yaounde. While Indomitable Lions captain, Vincent Aboubakar and goalkeeper Devis Epassy joined in the second training yesterday November 3, 2022 at the Ngoa Ekelle Stadium, striker Léandre Tawamba was already with the team in the opening training session on November 2, 2022 at the Mundi Multipurpose Sports Complex in the outskirt of Yaounde. The three players who all play in Saudi Arabia are on break after the Saudi Pro League went on recess on October 16, 2022 giving more time for players to begin preparing for the World Cup with their respective national teams.
At about 4:50 p.m. when we arrived at the stadium yesterday November 3, 2022, Aboubakar was spotted on one angle of the stadium warming up with the ball. At another angle, the home-based players alongside Epassy and Tawamba were equally having a light muscular warm up while waiting for training to officially begin.
