Rugby Africa Women’s Cup Qualifiers : Cameroon Faces Burkina Faso Tomorrow

The match will be their second and last game at the ongoing Group D qualifiers for the Rugby Africa Women’s Cup in Yaounde.

It will be an exciting weekend for lovers of rugby in Yaounde and elsewhere. The national women’s rugby XV team will take on Burkina Faso tomorrow November 12, 2022 at the Olembe Annex A Stadium at 2:00 p.m. The match will be their second and last game at the ongoing Group D qualifiers for the Rugby Africa Women’s Cup in Yaounde.  
Tomorrow’s encounter promises to produce a lot of fireworks as each side will be seeking to secure the top spot in the group. After winning the first game against Côte d’Ivoire on November 4, 2022, the players are leaving nothing to chance in order to secure a ticket for the AFCON. For the past one week, the team is training intensively in their hideout in Emana twice daily. The players are training under the supervision of the head coach, Alfred Daniel Bisso. Cameroon must win Burkina Faso tomorrow to qualify for the AFCON. In this light, the Coach Alfred Bisso and the players are working out winning strategies in order to ensure the best result on Saturday. Ahead of tomorrow’s game, Alfred Bisso said emphasis is more on the psychological part of the training and also working on the final touches in their strategies. He said the ladies are now free from the pressure they had in the first game. “We make them understand that we should play as if we never won the last mat match,” he said.
