Serbia : Full Of Determination

From their recent performances the Eagles will be bent on showing the world what they are capable of in Qatar.

Serbia will make their fourth appearance at the World Cup. It will be their third appearance at the prestigious competition as an independent nation after debuting at South Africa 2010. The national team played in the 2006, 2010 and 2018 FIFA World Cup tournaments but failed to progress past the group stage on each occasion. Serbia occupies the 21st position on the recent FIFA Rankings. The team has been working intensively in order to meet set objectives. 
After missing out on qualifying for Euro 2020, Serbia will be determined to show the world what they are capable of in Qatar.  Serbia finished their World Cup qualifying campaign by beating Portugal away and topping their group. They will play in Group G along with Brazil, Switzerland and Cameroon. Serbia will be counting on a host of talented players for their success at the World Cup. They are also backed by an impressive campaign over the last year that has seen them earn promotion to the Nations League finals, beating Norway and Sweden away on their way to winning their group. Serbia have established themselves as a solid World Cup force since 2010. Dragan Stojkovic also becomes the third manager to lead them at a World Cup as their reputation for sacking coaches shows little sign of slowing down.
