Basketball Women’s African Champions Cup: Overdose Up Station Bracing Up

The Cameroonian representative is at its last preparatory phase ahead of the competition which begins on December 9, 2022 in Maputo, Mozambique.

Yesterday November 24, 2022 was training day for Overdose Up Station; the Cameroonian Basketball club that will be representing the country in the 2022 African Champions Cup for Women to run from December 9-17, 2022 in Maputo, Mozambique. In effect, the team began training barely few days after they qualified for the competition during the Zone IV qualifying Championship which ended in Yaounde on October 14, 2022. They entered the last preparatory phase on November 20, 2022 at the Yaounde Multipurpose Sports Complex to meet up with international standards.
Yesterday when CT arrived the sports complex, the team was in full action under the command of Head Coach, Roger Dassi. In a convivial mode; he spoke to the young talented girls and urged them to take the trainings serious. To the trainer, proper preparation prevents poor results and he is doing everything possible to see that the team flies the flag of the country high on the continent. “The tournament is a very physical one. We are working on reinforcing the physical abilities of our players.
