Unity Cup Final : ANAFOOT Beaten By Donlap Academy

The 2023 edition of the Unity Cup played in Douala has been won by Donlap Academy. The tournament that had eight sport academies in attendance saw Donlap defeat ANAFOOT Academy by one goal to zero on April 9, 2023 in the final. ANAFOOT opened the competition last Friday by defeating Fondation Tafi by 1-0. They proceeded to defeating Kadji Sports Academy (KSA) 2-0 the next day before hitting the rock against Donlap Academy.
Prior to the competition, ANAFOOT rounded of the 11th edition of the Regional Poles Talents Tournament in Limbe with the selection off 16 players drawn from the national territory. The camping at the Limbe Centenary Stadium started on Sunday April 2, 2023 and by Wednesday April 5, the final selection was done. The 16 selected players on April 7, participated in the Unity Cup Tournament in Douala alongside seven other academies. 
Esseme V. Olivier, Training Coordinator of the session, said they were training twice every day. He expressed satisfaction with the evolution of the playing style of the chosen players.
