Limbe : Wovia Chiefdom Pays Homage To the town City Mayor

The people of Wovia village in Limbe II Subdivision led by their traditional ruler, HRM Chief George Dikanjo Malumbe on Thursday June 15, 2023, hailed and blessed, Paul Efome L.M Ngale, Limbe City Council Mayor; a true bonafide son of Limbe in whom hundreds of thousands are well pleased. The Chief who doubles as the President of Limbe Chiefs’ Conference paid a courtesy visit to the Limbe City Council boss with his royal family, family heads, notables and subjects of his village at the Limbe City Council premises.
In a spectacular display of traditional rites, Paul Efome was dressed in traditional regalia and handed attributes of power which are a canoe paddle and a broom. He accepted the honours bestowed on him and hailed the throne of HRM Chief Dikanjo. The Wovia people poured libation in which they transmitted their power and protection to the youngest City Mayor in Cameroon. They also extended their appreciation to the Head of State, Paul Biya, for investing Paul Efome L.M Ngale as City Mayor of Limbe Council.
