A photo exhibition that retraces the history of Cameroon volleyball from 1960 took place in Yaounde on Monday August 21, 2023.
It was a special day at the Yaounde Multipurpose Sports Complex on Monday August 21, 2023. The event was a photo exhibition that retraces the history of Cameroon volleyball from 1960. The pictures placed on the walls of the main corridor in the Multipurpose Sports Complex was an opportunity for the public and the different delegations to taking part in the competition to review the progress of volleyball in Cameroon during the past 40 years.
Speaking at the occasion, the Vice President of the Confederation of African Volleyball Ndounda Frederick congratulated FECAVOLLEY officials for their successful organisation of the competition. He expressed the wish that the rest of the competition will go on in the best conditions. The President of the FECAVOLLEY, Bello Burdanne said all the photos that have been exposed will be published in his book on Cameroon volleyball that will be launched in October. He said he hopes that the book will serve to relive the memory of Cameroon volleyball history.
The public watched with amazement pictures of former players and officials who have headed the Cameroon Volleyball Federation.
