The fifth “La Vitrine du Cameroun” exhibition kicked off at the National Museum grounds yesterday, August 23, 2016.
President Paul Biya’s April 2016 clarion call for government to intensify communication with the public on its activities, especially through the media, hovered over the grounds of the National Museum in Yaounde yesterday, August 23 2016 during the launch of the Exhibition on Government Action (SAGO), dubbed “La Vitrine du Cameroun”.
Over half a dozen cabinet ministers defied the rain to witness the solemn opening of the exhibition by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Henri Eyebe Ayissi, who visited at least 10 of the 150 exhibition stands expected to host over 70,000 visitors till the end of the event on August 28, 2016. Besides the remarkable presence of enterprises participating for the first time, ministries and public institutions deployed their best public relations staff and gadgets to welcome visitors. The remarkable presence of the Ministry of Agriculture backed the lecture by Minister Eyebe Ayissi during the inaugural conference, calling on youths to get information on funding opportunities and programmes in the agricultural sector.
