As the Djutrus look forward to the 2023 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations in Côte d’Ivoire, Coach Baciro Candé is full of great ambitions for his team. A well-known figure in Guinea-Bissau football, Baciro Candé is in charge of his country’s national team for the second time. The 56-year-old gaffer has all the necessary qualities to help his team make a difference in next year’s edition of the competition.
Candé was a Guinea-Bissau professional player and manager. As a defender, Baciro Candé played for the Guinea Bissau national team. Candé played professional football in Portugal's Segunda Liga as a defender with Estrela da Amadora and Amora. After he retired from playing, Candé became a football coach.
