This was during the 2023 Christmas feast at the hospital's premises on December 23, 2023.
Immense joy enveloped the atmosphere around the Gynaecological Endoscopic Surgery and Human Reproductive Teaching Hospital (CHRACERH) in Yaounde on December 23, 2023. It will be marked as a “Day to Remember” in the life diaries of some 600 children. 400 amongst them conceived via In-vitro Fertilisation (IVF) at CHRACERH. These children had a special privilege to have an encounter with a female “Santa Klaus” who came calling with diverse gifts. According to Prof. Kasia, the award was a sign that the world recognises the efforts of Mrs Biya to humanity, particularly in the health domain.
