His return to coaching is expected to bring light to the 2012 winners in Côte d’Ivoire.
Avram Grant, head coach of the Zambian national team, is a great tactician. Four years after his last assignment, Avram Grant returned to coaching once again in December 22, 2022, when Zambia appointed him as manager of their national side. The 68-year-old’s first task was to qualify the team for the 2023 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations in Côte d’Ivoire, having missed out on the last three editions. That is exactly what Avram Grant has done. His come back to the team is likened to that of a saviour. Avram Grant published a list of 28 players who will be fighting for the title in Côte d’Ivoire recently. The gaffer has a good mastery of his team and he knows which players to field especially in challenging moments.
