Presbyterian Church Bonamoussadi : Congregational Choir Raises Funds For Lepers

The money will be used to cater for people affected by leprosy at the Manyemen Leprosy Centre in the South West region.

Members of the Congregational Choir of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon-PCC Bonamoussadi have outlined a series of musical concerts to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Choir. The musical concerts that will begin in PCC Bonamoussadi on the 20th of January 2024 will also be organised in other parts of the country including the South West, Centre and North West Regions. The Choir that came into existence in 1974 is aimed at singing songs to praise God and win souls for Christ. Over the years, they have been involved in different church activities to contribute towards the growth of the church.
According to the President of the Congregational Choir of PCC Bonamoussadi, Chief Moses Obenofunde, the 50th anniversary is coming at a time when the world is facing a lot of challenges and the trivialities of the world are making many Christians to derail from their main focus which is Christ. With this, he went on, they have the challenge to evangelise and preach the gospel through songs.  He disclosed that the 50th anniversary will be used to raise funds to support people affected by leprosy at the Presbyterian Manyemen Leprosy Centre. He added that the funds will be raised through the different musical concerts that will be organised nationwide.
