The Bafana Bafana of South Africa will take on the Blue Sharks of Cape Verde tomorrow February 3, 2024 at the Charles Konan Banny Stadium in Yamoussoukro. Tomorrow’s encounter promises to produce a lot of fireworks as each side will be out to secure a ticket in the semi-finals. As far as the history of the competition is concerned both South Africa and Cape Verde are among the teams that were least expected to qualify for the quarterfinals of the competition. With this in mind, the two sides are set to turn the tables in Côte d’Ivoire.
The Blue Sharks have stuck with a remarkably consistent team selection throughout the tournament and look set to keep the faith for the quarterfinals.
