Teenage singer, Jato Sonita and her Forest Children music group used the opportunity on Thursday March 21, 2024 to plant trees in Bamenda. And undertake advocacy on the importance of protecting and conserving nature.
Young female songstress, Jato Sonita and her musical group, The Forest Children, have for years now taken a keen interest in efforts to protect the environment. Because they were offered sanctuary, food and clothing in forests at the height of the ongoing armed conflict in English-speaking Cameroon.
“Forests preserved us and gave us hope during the most trying moments of our lives. Thanks to forests, we are making a name and career.
