Chantal Biya Int’l Cycling Race : Itinerary Known

The first lap, which constitutes the major innovation, will take place on October 1, 2024 between Nkoteng-Nanga-Eboko and Minta in the Upper Sanaga Division.

Preparations ahead of the 2024 Chantal Biya International Grand Prix is gathering steam. The laps and itinerary of the cycling race were made public recently. It was during one of the preparatory meetings ahead of the event, chaired by the President of the Cameroon Cycling Federation, Honoré Yossi. 
The much-awaited competition will officially take-off in the Upper Sanaga Division with the first lap from Nkoteng-Nanga-Eboko and Minta (100 km). On October 2, 2024, the Mfoundi, Nyong and So'o as well as the Mvila Divisions will be on the spotlight with the second lap between Yaounde-Ebolowa (150 km). The third lap will take place on October 3, 2024 from Ebolowa passing through Mengong to Sangmelima. These localities are found in the Mvila and Dja and Lobo Divisions. The 145 km Sangmelima-Mkpwang-Mvomeka'a-Meyomessala parcour constitutes the fourth lap which takes place on October 4, 2024. The final lap, Sangmelima-Yaounde (155 km) is billed for October 5, 2024.  At the end of this lap, the winner of the five-day 655 km competition bringing together riders from Europe, Africa and Cameroon will be known.
