2025 AFCON Qualifiers : Lions Continue Honing Skills

The team, already complete, had another training session yesterday September 4, 2024 at the Yaounde Omnisports Annex 1 stadium.
The Yaounde Omnisports Annex 1 Sta- dium was still the ve- nue for another training session of the Indomitable Lions yesterday September 4, 2024. The team is preparing to face Namibia in Cameroon on September 7, 2024 and Zimbabwe, in Kampala, Uganda, on September 10, 2024; matches counting for the first and se- cond playing days of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. With a complete squad assembled, including the late arrivals of Yvan Dibango, Nouhou Tollo, and Yvan Neyou, the Lions are focused on honing their skills and building cohesion. The team's midfield has been bolstered by the inclusion of Kunde Malong, who replaces the injured defender Harold Moukoudi. Coordinated by fitness coach Christophe Manouvrier and assistant coaches François Omam- Biyik and Cyprian Ashu Bessong, the players underwent rigorous warm-up exercises and drills. Captain Vincent Aboubakar and Michel Ngadeu led the team through the usual joggling round of the stadium. A few other exercises were conducted before Head Coach Marc Brys arrived for real business to begin. At the time the media as well as the handful of supporters were being asked out of the stadium for the training to continue in camera, it began to drizzle followed by sunshower: a whether suitable for training.
