Sports and Physical Education : Newly Appointed Officials Commissioned

It was a special day at the Ministry of Sports and Physical Education on Thursday, October 3, 2024. The event was a ceremony to install some 23 newly appointed staff in the central services. Friends, relatives and well-wishers thronged the conference hall of the Ministry with bouquets of flowers to congratulate the newly appointed. 
Speaking at the occasion, the Minister of Sports and Physical Education, Prof. Narcisse Mouelle Kombi, reminded the officials of the issues and challenges facing the Ministry of Sports and Physical Education in the current context, which is marked by challenges such as the maintenance of the sports infrastructure, support for national civil federations with a view to consolidating their vitality and improving their performance, the training and supervision of sportsmen and women among others. “It is therefore important that you make your contribution to the construction of this imposing edifice,” he said.
