Road to BAL Elite 16 : KSA Gets Semi-finals Spot

The Cameroonian club that progressed with two successive wins was at press time yesterday meeting Al Ahli SC in Abidjan to battle for the top spot in Group B of the West Division.
Kadji Sports Academy (KSA) Basketball Club of Cameroon picked an early qualification for the Semi-finals of the Road to Basketball Africa League (BAL) West Division, Elite 16, with two successive wins in the tournament ongoing in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. They started their Group B campaign of the tournament buoyantly by winning Spintex Knights of Ghana 84-71 on Tuesday November 5, 2024. The following day, the boys from Douala did it again as they defeated Mighty Barrolle Basketball Club of Liberia 81-75. Jérémy Nzeulie emerged top performer with 20 points scored, six rebounds and one assist. With these two wins, the club automatically sealed its place in the semi-finals.
At press time yesterday, KSA was battling for the top spot in Group B against Al Ahli of Libya at the “Palais des Sports de Treichville” in Abidjan. According to the format of the tournament, teams will face each of their group opponents in a round-robin system and the teams that finish in the top two places of Groups A and B will advance to the Semi-finals, where the finalists will qualify for the BAL.
