AFCON 2025 : The Full Table

The qualifiers rounded off with matches of the sixth and last playing day on Tuesday November 19, 2024 in stadiums across the continent.


The 24 teams that will participate in the 35th edition of the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco are now known. Botswana, Mozambique and Tanzania complete AFCON 2025 table after during the last playing day. The competition will feature a mix of perennial powerhouses and emerging teams eager to make their mark on the continental stage. The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon already qualified, secured their leadership position in Group J following their 2-1 victory over the Warriors of Zimbabwe on November 19, 2024 at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium in Yaounde. Tanzania qualified for the Africa football jamboree after beating Guinea 1-0 in Dar-es-Salam on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 to finish second in Group H.
Sudan and Benin secured their slots on Monday, November 18 during the day six matches. Nigeria, Tunisia, South Africa, Uganda, Equatorial Guinea, and Gabon secured their spots last week joining a growing list of African football powerhouses ready for the tournament. Zambia, Mali, Zimbabwe and Comoros were also among the countries that sealed their places last week. Morocco automatically qualified as host nation, alongside prominent teams like Senegal and Algeria, who secured early qualification through consistent performances. Egypt and title holders, Côte d'Ivoire, bring strong legacies to the competition, with both countries boasting numerous AFCON titles.
Several teams have made a comeback to the continental stage. Zimbabwe and Botswana have made their return to the tournament.
