Georgiy Todua : Experienced Diplomat

The professional career of the new Ambassador of Russia displays a mastery of international relations.

Ambassador Georgiy Todua of Russia, handed the copies of his accreditation documents to President Paul Biya on November 29, 2024. Born in 1964, the Head of Mission for Russia in Cameroon studied international relations in Moscow, obtaining a certificate in 1990. The Minister Plenipotentiary has held high the image of his country in several other nations. Prior to his designation as Ambassador of Russia to Cameroon, Georgiy Todua was the Deputy Director at the Department of African Affairs at the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. According to his professional career, he has been Ambassador of Russia to Burundi, a position he occupied between 2014 and 2019.  Between 2008 and 2013, Georgiy Todua was Minister Counsellor at the Embassy of Russia in Colombia.
