The club president disclosed in a press conference on November 28, 2024 that all necessary measures have been taken to ensure continuous success.
Following their historic victory in the 2023-2024 MTN Elite One, where they claimed their first-ever top-flight championship title, the Limbe-based club is now focused on maintaining dominance domestically and making a strong impression in international competitions, particularly the CAF Champions League. In a press conference on Thursday November 28, 2024, in Limbe to unveil the ambitious goals for the upcoming football season, Victoria United FC announced a budget of FCFA 1.1 billion
According to the Club’s President, Nkwain Valentine, out of the FCFA 1.1 billion, FCFA 900 million will go to the senior male football team which will be used for recruitment of players and coaches, retention, salaries, and facilitate youth development programmes. The management emphasized their commitment to strengthening the team, both in terms of player recruitment and strategic partnerships, to ensure continued success.
