Youth Connekt Cameroon: 5th Edition Afoot

The Minister of Youth Affairs and Civic Education, Mounouna Foutsou has announced the coming up of the fifth edition of the Youth Connekt Cameroon Convention which will take place from 16th to 21st of December 2024. This was during a press conference on December 12. The theme of the edition is “Youth entrepreneurship, import-substitution, for the structural transformation of the national economy.” The convention will feature the participation of leaders and experts of Youth Connekt Africa. Speaking within government communication platform, and in the presence of the representative of the Minister of Communication, Resident Representatives and Directors of United Nations System Agencies, Minister Mounouna Foutsou said the holding of the 5th edition of the Youth Connekt Cameroon Convention will focus on the International Exhibition for the Promotion of Youth Entrepreneurship (SIPROME-Jeunes). The Convention is a time constituted for youth emulation and showcasing of talents, and activities will take place on two main sites namely; The National Museum will play host to the Youth Connekt Cameroon Convention Village, where the public will be able to experience most of the activities of SIPROME-Jeunes. The Cameroon Red Cross Banquet Hall, will host the opening ceremony on December 17, the conference on sustainable youth empowerment on December 19, and the closing ceremony on December 20, 2024.
