Le Film de l’année : “Half Heaven”, The Best!

“Half Heaven”, the Cameroonian movie, directed by Enah Johnscott, made headlines this year at the national and international level in the world of cinematography. The movie narrates a revolutionary encounter between a clergyman and a prostitute in a Hellish community called Mboko, where he's obliged to win a soul.  “Half Heaven” had its rounds in cinema across West Africa (Nigeria, Ghana and Cameroon). At the 28th edition of the Écrans Noirs international film festival last November, the movie emerged the most celebrated film with five awards in different categories. The awards included; Jury Prize for International Feature Award, the Best Central African Feature Award, Best Original Music, Best Costume Design, and the Jury Prize from the African Federation of Film Critics.
