The CAF Appeal Board met on January 8, 2025, to hear an appeal against the recent disciplinary decision involving Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) President Samuel Eto'o. Eto'o faced accusations of match manipulation and ethics violations. In a decision released on July 4, 2024, the CAF Disciplinary Board found insufficient evidence to support the match manipulation charges against Eto'o and his associate, Valentin Nkwain.
