Cameroon International Film Festival: Expands Horizons For Collaboration

The event ended with auditions and inductions into Cameroon Wall of Fame in Buea.
Curtains dropped on Saturday April 25, 2026, at the Cameroon International Film Festival (CAMIFF) 10th edition at Cameroon Wall of Fame in Buea where it organised the closing ceremony. In attendance were the Permanent Secretary at South West Governor’s Office – Acha Gilbert, the Divisional Officer for Buea – Abba Abdouraman, Hon. Joshua Osih, Nollyhood legend Ramsey Noah and a host of actors in the film industry from across the globe. There was the award night with different awards for the different films that were screened. Actors like Okawa Shaznay, Ruth Kadiri from Nigeria among others grabbed various awards. There was also the audition to the induction into the Wall of Fame for some legends. The Cameroon Wall of Fame at Turborg Junction Buea boasts of a coffee shop. It is named after Mola Palmer Ngale, one of the pillars of CAMIFF who passed away two months after CAMIFF’s 9th edition in 2025. The Legal and Communication Officer of CAMIFF, Takum Fred Che, said the American Ambassador to Cameroon on Friday, April 24, 2026, donated cinema and entertainment books for the library. During the closing ceremony, CAMIFF counted the successes of 10 years of its existence. It has trained close to a thousand students as actors, directors, writers, and also producers.
