North West Progressively Joining The Train

Students, pupils, staff and parents are braving the in­ secure environment imposed by the non-State armed separatist fighters to go to school in the North West Region. Since the start of the 2026/2027 academic year, the school attendance situation is gradually im­ proving in many parts of the region. On Wednesday, September 9, 2026 which was third day of the school year, the situation in the Secondary Education sector was remarkable. The North West Re­ gional Delegate of Secondary Education, Baijong Ezekiel Ndifon disclosed that there were 13, 291 students in attendance in 80 schools in the six of the seven Divisions of the North West Region.
