Experts are examining documents owners can show as a right to an apartment in a building that is owned by many people
Before now, that which was mostly associated to construction of buildings was a land title as the legal document belonging to those with lands. With the construction of low-cost housing, a new concept has come up in which many people can own a house with a land title belonging to them. The question some are asking is if it is enough for an owner in a building that has many apartments to present a land title as the lone legal document he/she has as prove of ownership of that apartment?
Knowing that it is a structure with many apartments in which people can do any type of transactions, experts at the Ministry of State Property, Surveys, and Land Tenure say a land title is not enough prove of land ownership in a low-cost housing building.
