Limbe: Landslide Kills Three

I t was a black Wednesday mor ning in Limbe, yesterday Au gust 5, following the tragic dead of three persons. Infor mation gathered from eye wit nesses indicate that a pregnant woman, her daughter and one other woman were killed following a landslide that pushed down the house of the victims. The victims identified simply as Fanny Duh (14 years old), Meh Blessing Duh (25) and Melanie Epu lie (26), died under the rubble as their lifeless bodies were retrieved by the rescue operations led by the Fire Fighting Brigade and the National Gendarmerie with the sup port of the population. One of the victims (Blessing) was pregnant by the time of the incident. It should be noted that the collapsed house had four occupants. James Meh, the family head was rescued and he is presently receiving treatment at the Limbe Regional Hospital.
