Star Building : Traditional Rulers On Peace Mission

Led by the Member of Parliament for Momo East, Mbengwi Constituency, they were received by the Prime Minister, Head of Government, Joseph Dion Ngute yesterday March 20, 2024.
Faced with some challenges in the Mbengwi locality in Momo Division of the North West Region, and in the quest for peace and promoting social cohesion, traditional rulers of the area were at the Star Building to share ideas with the Prime Minister, Head of Government, Joseph Dion Ngute. Led by the Member of Parliament for Momo East, Mbengwi Constituency, Hon. Prudencia Injoh, and accompanied b amongst others, the President of the Fon’s Union, Fon Fombo Gregory and the President General of the Meta Cultural and Development Association, Prof. Njoh Oliver, they also pledged their commitment to respecting institutions of the country that incarnate such values.
Further expatiating on the reason for their visit to the Prime Minister’s Office, the legislator said they presented their challenges to the Head of Government with the objective of finding solutions that will contribute to accelerating the development of the locality. “The delegation is made up of the President General of Meta Cultural and Development Association, the President of the Meta Fon's Union and some executive members of the Meta Fon's Union. We came here on a peace-abiding mission. The people of Mbengwi are very peace-loving people and we have been having some challenges back in Mbengwi. We thought that it was appropriate for us to report this to the Prime Minister, Head of Government. And we had fruitful deliberations with him,” she told the press short...
