Dschang Cliff Landshide : Twelve Corpses Retrieved From The Debris

The search and rescue team continues searching for victims, following a stormy landslide that occurred last 5, November, 2024.
The situation at the Dschang cliff (La Falaise de Dschang) where a stormy landslide occurred on the, 5, November, 2024, is still murdy, as the search and rescue team continues search of victims following the catastrophe. So far, 12 corpses have been retrieved from the rubbles with fear of more missing persons still buried in the debris. Most of those trapped in the path of dead, are members of the rescue team dispatched by the administrative and Dschang council authorities to clear the first landslide that occurred in the morning to ease the passage for vehicles heading to different destinations.
Mainwhile, Governor Awa Fonka Augustine, who spent two days in Dschang from the day the disaster was announced, was back at the disaster site, on the 8, November, 2024, to see how far the search and rescue operation team was managing the delicate situation. The head of the technical team, Regional Delegate of Public Works, Tabe Etchu Manfred, told the Governor that some five heavy-duty machines have been deployed to help the search and rescue operation team, adding that the priority task for the reach team were the heavy machines and the deployment of human resource, insinuating that such operation needs technical expertise and specialized equipment.
