New Blueprint For Security: Cameroon Bolsters Military Readiness With Mobile Fuel Infrastructure

In a significant stride toward reinforcing national security through innovative public-private partnerships, the Cameroon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) has officially handed over state-of-the-art mobile fuel supply stations to the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF). 
The high-profile ceremony, held on May 29, 2026, at the Centre de formation technique des Armées (CFTA) in Ekounou, Yaoundé, was presided over by Major General Ebaka Hypolite, representing the Minister of Defence. The event marked a milestone in the state's drive to secure energy supply lines for strategic military deployments. 
The newly commissioned mobile refueling stations are engineered to provide flexibility, rapid deployment capabilities, and heightened operational efficiency. These features are critical for maintaining military logistical readiness, particularly in volatile intervention zones where traditional logistics are easily compromised. 
Bikoun Nga Johan Harris, Founder and CEO of the Cameroon Petroleum Corporation, emphasized the company's commitment to national stability during the handover. "As an enterprise operating within the petroleum and energy sector, we are convinced that this partnership directly addresses the strategic necessities of the military," Harris stated. He described the project as a "concrete contribution to safeguarding peace, preserving territorial integrity, and ensuring the protection of the population". 
The deployment of this infrastructure was the result of months of rigorous planning and international cooperation, facilitated by AD Offices and Holdings Group Limited (SARL).
