Centre: Nso Fon Extends Olive Branch

Yaounde (Mfoundi) - Against a backdrop of the prolonged Anglophone crisis in the English speaking regions that has caused enormous hardship and pain on the populations of the North West and South West Regions characterized by kid­ nappings for ransom, frustration of kids in their pursuits of education, displacements and outright killings, the Fon of Nso HRM Sehm Mbinglo l, has written a book calling for peace, forgiveness and reconciliation. Titled, “The Fon of Nso and the Anglophone Crisis: A Testimony for Reconciliation and Peace”, the 170-page book harps on the notions of peace and reconciliation as a leeway for the devastating crisis. The traditional ruler who has suffered enormous physical and psychological torture as a consequence of the crisis, has ap­ pealed to all men of goodwill to adopt the path of peace and reconciliation. “Let us carry our scars with dignity, walk in fair­ ness, forgive with courage, and build a Cameroon where every culture is honoured and thrives,” Sehm Mbinglo l ap­ peals.
