Entrepreneurs Urged To Maximise Opportunities

 

Entrepreneurs nationwide have been called upon to exploit the battery of institutions and agencies government has put in place to boost the private sector and facilitate job creation. The Minister of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, Social Economy and Handicraft, Laurent Serge Etoundi Ngoa made the call while opening the 2017 edition of the Ethical Entrepreneurship Days at the Yaounde Multipurpose Sports Complex on November 9, 2017.
Minister Etoundi Ngoa made the generalized call after advising some 20 graduates of the School of Wealth Creation who received end-of-training certificates shortly before his speech.
Among the institutions the Minister enumerated alongside their benefits, were the SMEs Bank, the National Agency for the Promotion of SMEs, the Enterprise Creation Formality Centre, the National Enterprises Upgrade Office, as well as other ongoing initiatives like setting up of a legal framework to facilitate subcontracting between SMEs and multinational companies. He also advised all entrepreneurs to associate their businesses with digitalization, regardless of their nature.
