National Assembly: Measures To Ensure Continuation Of Work

 Below is a press release following the Bureau meeting of the House

“The Bureau of National Assembly met at the National Assembly today Tuesday 12 December 2017, at the request of its Chairperson.
Two items featured on the agenda of the meeting notably:
1. The examination of a request submitted by non-Bureau Members of the National Assembly;
2. Discussion on the National assembly building following the fire incident that occurred in the night of 16 breaking 17 November 2017.
Before examining the two items on the agenda, the Bureau decried the incident that occurred on Friday 8 December 2017 in the House Chamber during a plenary sitting which was devoted to the adoption of the State budget-an incident that resulted in a physical injury on a Member of the National Assembly.
