Cameroon-China Cooperation: Visiting Delegation Applauds Ties

Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, led by its Vice President Lin Yi has congratulated Cameroon for the creation of a Cameroon-China association in the country with the objective of furthering international cooperation between both countries.

She made the remark on December 15, 2017 after an audience granted her delegation by the Minister Delegate of the Ministry of External Relations in charge of Relation with the Commonwealth, Joseph Dion Ngute.

Speaking to the press shortly after the audience, Lin Yi said their principle objective was to congratulate the establishment of the Cameroon- China friendship association in the country and the platform will serve as a focal point for Africa.

With regards to diplomatic ties between both countries, she said they are very positive and so much is being done on their part in China to showcase Cameroon. “In cooperation with the Cameroonian embassy in Beijing, a visit was organised to the different provinces to highlight our cooperation and economic gains,” she sated.

Meanwhile, the alliance created in the country is known as the Association for Cooperation and Friendship between the People of Cameroon and China, abbreviated in French as ACAPECC, and was formed on November 25; 2017 with Hon Komba Gaston its President . The platform seeks the multidimensional development of relations between both countries.
