Ministry Of Trade: FCFA 7.10 Billion To Regulate Exchanges

Minister Luc Magloire Mbarga Atangana says they plan to boost performance of local companies on the domestic and international markets in 2019.

Defending the eight billion seven hundred and eightyone million four hundred fifty-eight thousand draft budget of the Ministry of Trade in Parliament on November 24, Minister Luc Magloire Mbarga Atangana said besides their traditional responsibility of fighting against inflation, scarcity of goods and high cost of living, they would focus on boosting local trade and performance of local companies on the international market, especially on the African continent. The proposed current expenditure of the ministry stands at seven billion ten million CFA francs while the provisional public investment budget stands at one billion seven hundred and seventy-one million four hundred and fifty-eight thousand CFA francs. “On March 21 this year, the African Continental Free Trade Area agreement was signed in Rwanda.
