The multipurpose port saw its commercial and operational activities effectively launched on March 02 with several ships already on anchor.
March 02, 2018 was certainly not a good date for doubting Thomases who thought the construction of the Kribi Deep Seaport was a dream. The deep seaport which has the potential of becoming a transport hub for Atlantic coast countries spanning from Senegal to Gabon and landlocked Chad and Central African Republic, is one of the major projects that saw the light of day in 2018 rekindling very high hopes of the country's programmed superlative economic checkered board come the famous 2035.
