Elite One : PWD-Coton Sport Share Points

It was in fair weather that the best elite one football teams clashed in Bamenda on February 19, 2020.  On duty for the day 23 action were home side, PWD Bamenda and visiting Coton Sport FC of Garoua. It was a moment for football lovers to appreciate the game at its best and curtaind later dropped with both sides sharing the points,1-1 as they  continue to play front roles in the  League with Coton Sport, 2nd with 39 points  and PWD, 3rd with 37 points. 
The encounter kicked off at 3pm at the Yong Sports academy stadium in the neighbourhood of Bamenda III sub division and PWD’s team captain, Burinyuy Derrick was quick to help the home side take the lead by the 3rd minute from the penalty spot. It was a crowd puller encounter with PWD,s supporters alive with song, drum and dance. 
The highly inspired PWD players pushed to increase scores but not before retreating in the face of threats from the highly technical game of their opponents.
