Douala IV : Population Appreciates Presidential Gesture

Inhabitants of the Douala IV municipality have thanked the President of the Republic for the support to fight against the spread of the Covid-19. This was during the ceremony to hand over the presidential support by the Senior Divisional Officer for Wouri, Mboutou Benjamin on Tuesday May 4, 2020.  The SDO used the opportunity to caution the population on the preventive measures of Covid-19.
He asked them to stay at home and only go out when it is necessary, wash hands regularly with running water and soap, wear masks always and avoid crowded places. He said the Head of State President Paul Biya cares about them and wans them to be healthy reason why he offered the gifts. He reminded the population that the Covid 19 has no friend and combating it is a fight for all and by all. He said the lifting of the ban on off licenses and on licenses doesn’t mean that Covid-19 is finished and that people should go reckless, rather they should be more careful. Mboutou Benjamin urged the DO for the Douala IV Sub division to systematically check off and on licenses to ensure that they have provided water, soap and hand sanitizers for their customers.
