Kumba Massacre Civil : Society Expresses Indignation

A civil society organisation ‘Observatoire du dévelopment societal’ (ODS), has denounced the killings of school children at the Mother Francisca International Bilingual Academy Kumba by unidentified armed men on October 24, 2020. In a press conference on October 27, 2020, the General Coordinator of ODS, Lilian Koulou Engoulou, while expressing his sympathy to the families of the victims, said his organisation is ready to help authorities in tracking down culprits of the horrible act and bringing them to justice. “ODS exhorts public authorities to activate all operational and specialised services to unmask the perpetrators of such terrifying action and be brought before competent courts whether in the country or out of the country. What future does the country have without an educated youth,” he questioned. 
To the General Coordinator, he ponders why a school establishment would be attacked and children mutilated, innocent and vulnerable children who consist the hope of the nation.
He extended his encouragements and wishes of quick recovery to the students under medical attention in different health centres in the South West Region.
