Different activities have been programmed to end the year 2020.
Douala is brazing up to end the year in different activities programmed for the 31st. Different religious bodies have programmed church services which some have titled “Cross over night” “Breakthrough night”, “Restoration night”, “Operation claiming 2021” and a lot more. Snacks, restaurants and other business have instituted different strategies to ensure that the cross over is smooth and sweet. Many people on the streets of Douala have testified that 2020 was a difficult year, and most people are impatient and can’t wait for the year to come to an end.
Down the streets of Douala, it’s a city full of life and anxiety; business centers are full with people from all walks of life. Around “Marché chinois Douche” in the Akwa neighborhood, the atmosphere is lighted up all kinds of items on sale, dresses, decorative items, drinks of all kinds and a lot more. More so, most companies in Douala are offering a reduction in most of their services. Some have positioned loud speakers with messages all to lure customers to consume their products. Others have placed speakers with ear- breaking volumes which serve as attractions to customers.
