Buea Fan Zone : Football Lovers Live CHAN Realities

Since the competition opened on Saturday January 16, 2021, people have been streaming to the site to enjoy the tournament.
The population of Buea who are not opportune to watch Pool D matches live at the Limbe Omnisport Stadium are doing so through a Fan Zone set-up at the esplanade of Bilingual Grammar School Molyko near the Molyko Stadium. Since Saturday January 16, 2021, when the tournament opened, spectators have been living the event live as they watch the matches projected on a giant screen. The Fan Zone is open to all without exception and entry is free of charge. Chewable, soft drinks, beer among others are on sale.
The Fan Zone in Buea is also a business hub. 16 sheds have been opened for marketers to sell diverse items to the public. Six CHAN sponsors are also in place. Ebong Pende, SONARA’s Manager of Public Relations, Communication, Translation and Interpretation Department, said the Fan Zone offers to them an opportunity to tell students that they have a role to play as far as SONARA is concerned.
