Diplomacy : Expanding Cooperation Ties

Minister Felix Mbayu on October 26, 2021 granted two separate audiences to a Brazilian delegation led by Ambassador Vivian Loss Samaritan and the Indian High Commissioner, Rakesh Malhotra.
The Minister Delegate to the Minister of External Relations in charge of Cooperation with the Commonwealth, Felix Mbayu on October 26, 2021, granted two separate audiences to a Brazilian delegation of investors led by the Ambassador, Vivian Loss Sanmartin and the Indian High Commissioner to Cameroon, Rakesh Malhotra. Expanding cooperation ties for the mutual benefit of the aforementioned countries was at the centre of the audiences.
First to be received was the Indian High Commissioner to Cameroon, who saluted the growing ties between the two countries. The Indian High Commissioner has come to the end of his diplomatic stay in Cameroon and was at the Ministry of External Relations in a courtesy visit as he begins saying goodbye to government officials. The possibilities of expanding cooperation ties to other domains was also discussed during the audience.
Speaking to journalists after discussions with the Minister, the High Commissioner noted that bilateral relations between the two countries are witnessing an upward trend. “I have been here for about two years now and the relationship between India and Cameroon are excellent. Bilateral relations are growing in all aspects whether political, economic or cultural. Trade is growing. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, political visits could not take place between India and Cameroon. We keep working at improving our cooperation ties,” he stated.
