Promoting Excellence: Best Talent Award Launched

The second edition of the Best Talent Award will take place on February 25 in Douala. This declaration was made by the organisers of the event on January 31, during a press conference that was aimed at throwing more light on the award. Organisers of the Best Talent Award Cameroon explained that the event is aimed at promoting excellence in the arts and media sector. According to communication officer of the event, Olivier Dyl Djom, a committee was put in place to select the different nominees for the different categories and at the moment, the population can begin the voting process online. So far 50 nominees are on the role out of which 30 will qualify for the award.
He also added that there will be a category for legends and special recognition for elderly people who have excel in the arts or media awards, in effect these group of people will not be voted for as they are above both categories.
