56th National Youth Day: President Biya Urges Youths To Preserve Peace, Stability

The Head of State this evening February 10, 2022 addressed Cameroonian youths on the eve of the celebration tomorrow February 11, 2022.

Cameroon’s Head of State, President Paul Biya has just called on the nation’s youths to strive to preserve the achievements of peace, national unity and institutional stability. He has also called on them to turn a deaf ear to calls for destabilization and antagonism, reminding them of their role to preserve the country’s positive image both at home and abroad.
The youths, President Biya further urged, should be inventive and creative in the digital economic sector. Digital technology offers wonderful opportunities for youths as witnessed through different startups, he said. The Head of State advised youth to use the social media in a responsible, informed and constructive manner and shun social media vices such as hate speech, which is increasingly rife.
