The Head of State, President Paul Biya in his recent message to his young compatriots has been consistent in presenting national heroes in all domains who through their various international victories have projected the positive image of Cameroon.
In his message on February 10, 2022 on the eve of the 56th edition of the National Youth Day, President Paul Biya delved into the sporting domain, especially within the context in which Cameroon successfully hosted the Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON TotalEnergies 2021. The examples cited above are just a tip of the iceberg of Cameroonians who have done the country proud and have come back home as a show of patriotism. The performances of these role-models and more importantly their patriotism have been helping to project the positive image of Cameroon and influence the perception the world at large have of the country.
