Thanks to renovated airports and roads, numerous buses as well as the services of Camair-Co, the movement of players, delegations, CAF officials, journalists, etc during the 2021 AFCON was guaranteed.
One of the things which contributed greatly to the success of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) recently staged in Cameroon was transportation. The competition was played in six sites and five different towns making transportation very crucial in the organisation of the event. The mobility of players, delegations, journalists and supporters as well as officials of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) was assured thanks to good airports, roads, the availability of vehicles, the services of the Cameroon Airlines Corporation (Camair-Co), shuttle buses, amongst others.
