Maintain Cohesion

Officials and militants of the Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement (CPDM) will be celebrating the 37th anniversary of the party today, March 24, 2022 on the theme, “Let us mobilise more behind the National President, President of the Republic, His Excellency Paul Biya, in order to ensure the specificity of our country in the relentless peace building, unity, solidarity and progress, in a Cameroon nation resolutely turned towards shared emergence.”
The Secretary General of the CPDM Central Committee, Jean Nkuete in the circular letter of March 15, 2022 related to the celebration stated the actions that have to guide the militants as they feast. He said they must reflect on their actions and projections, by questioning the functioning of the party,  deeply considering the stakes and challenges of the moment for the country,  assessing the way the CPDM has assumed its responsibilities as a leading party,  taking  an objective and uncompromising look at the path taken, the achievements  made, society challenges, in order to draw a sustainable, viable, realistic and objective path for the future in a Cameroonian society that is more and more shaped by the ambitions of emergence. All these will enable the party achieve its ambition that  remains the constant progress of Cameroon for a continuous improvement of the quality of life of the population  in a country united in its diversity, peaceful despite the burdens and democratic under the enlightened leadership of President Paul Biya.
For the CPDM to achieve its set objectives not only as a political party but more importantly as the ruling party whose ultimate goal is to make the President of the Republic succeed in his vision for the country, there must be optimal cohesion at all levels of the party.  Between July and September 2021, the executive bureaus of all the CPDM basic organs from the cells right up to sections were renewed injecting new blood and therein ensuring national integration.
