Your school has been ranked among the first ten school nationwide with best results in the Baccalaureate examination for the 2020-2021 school year, what is the secret of your success?
In the last seven years we have been among the best twenty schools nationwide. Our secret is based on a philosophy of hard work, discipline and seriousness which are our core values. In seriousness, we respect the normal teaching periods, we do everything to avoid interruptions during the academic year. We strive to cover our syllabuses, organise weekly tutorials and this has been helping us to correct and amend loopholes. For discipline, there is a strict respect of staff and deadlines, and the need to be in class on time.
It goes also with the learners, who have to be punctual, present, following up instructions and ensure their individual conformity with the school's rules and regulations and, as well, respect their parents. If parents don't pay school fees on time, buy didactic materials these are issues that affect the performance of a child and the global results of the school. Discipline is the main factor which led to the brilliant results.
What are you making of this ranking, say to improve upon the results of the current school year?
Already, those who are in Upper Sixth, Terminal and other examination classes know that they have to upgrade their levels. I think we have pushed the reference line a little bit further and those who are coming up will have to improve or push it much more further. The learners and staff have the obligation to push it forward to the first position, and this, by the grace of God. T
